Efficient processing of diverse nutrient formulations

Liquid and suspension fertilisers often combine dissolved salts, chelated micronutrients, finely milled solids and—where required—oil-based additives. These heterogeneous phases must be brought together to form one stable, storage-ready product without causing precipitation, sediment build-up or phase separation. PUC colloid mills supply the shear energy needed to disperse every component down to the micrometre range and keep it permanently suspended.

Consistent quality batch after batch

Whether you run highly concentrated NPK solutions or micronutrient suspensions, the precisely engineered rotor–stator system breaks down agglomerates and delivers a tight particle-size distribution. Clog-free spraying and uniform nutrient availability are maintained from the first to the last liter of every batch.

Reliable performance with high-viscosity concentrates

To trim logistical costs, many fertilisers are traded as viscous mother liquors or gel suspensions. Conventional agitators quickly reach their limits here. PUC colloid mills handle such heavy substances with ease while simultaneously providing the power to move the product through the shear gap—eliminating the need for an auxiliary pump. The result is a compact, safe processing line with lower capital and operating expenditure.

Clean, residue-free manufacture

Trace carry-over from one batch can distort micronutrient levels in the next. PUC mills drain almost completely and, thanks to a design free of dead space, can be cleaned quickly. This reduces product loss and shortens downtime.

Flexible integration and long-term spare parts availability

All models are available in batch and inline configurations and integrate seamlessly into existing mixing, dissolution or filling systems. ATEX-rated versions can be supplied for flammable additives. A secure, long-term spare parts supply underpins sustainable operation and protects your investment.

puclab – Pilot

Make an appointment for preliminary tests in our pilot plant.

We give you and your product as much time as needed. Together with your technicians/engineers, we determine the best possible configuration for your new PUC machine in our test lab and plan its integration into your process.

puclab – On-Site

Test a PUC mill in your plant or laboratory.

Talk to our technical support to define the requirements for your process and product. We then provide you with a suitable machine, free of charge, and offer support for your in-house trials.

puclab – Remote

Send us your raw materials for testing.

Based on your specifications and materials, we determine the best machine configuration for your end product in our technical centre. Using different grinder sets and settings, we can calculate within a few hours how your new PUC mill needs to be configured, without charge.
