De-agglomeration machine
The purpose of de-agglomeration is to prevent the powdered ingredients added to a liquid from agglomerating, i.e. from forming lumps.
The purpose of de-agglomeration is to prevent the powdered ingredients added to a liquid from agglomerating, i.e. from forming lumps.
Agglomeration is normally undesirable and must therefore be prevented or eliminated. For example, the de-agglomeration and comminution of the ingredients used play a key role in the production of drugs.
To generate the high shear forces required for de-agglomeration, colloid mills are normally used for this process.
Colloid mills from Probst & Class are especially well-suited for de-agglomeration. They have a long service life and are easy to maintain. Their low TCO can play a key role in improving the productivity of our customers’ plants.
