Comminution and micro-comminution create an essential prerequisite for the production of suspensions and emulsions. The shape-maintaining forces of the phases are reduced, allowing them to be mixed with each other.
In colloid mills, different particle and droplet sizes can be produced using different milling gears. These mills can be used both for the coarse pre-comminution of solids and suspensions and for simultaneous micro-comminution and production of the final mixture consistency.
